Catalys Course Overview
The Catalys curriculum is curated from the same textbooks used in business schools throughout the United States. Every course is designed with a 10 hours per week time commitment in mind but can be completed at your own pace. Dedicated 1:1 career consultations are embedded within the curriculum.

Introduction to Business: Essential concepts of business and markets, an introductory view of subjects covered throughout the program.

Economics 101: Core concepts of microeconomics and macroeconomics including supply and demand, markets, competition, utility, economic growth and public policy.

Accounting and Finance

Financial Accounting: Understanding financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), bookkeeping, accounting principles.

Managerial Accounting: Understanding how accounting is a tool for management and decision making inside of a firm.

Corporate Finance: Basics of finance, budgeting, forecasting, investment decisions, and analyzing financial statements.

Marketing 101: Understanding customer needs, market segmentation, marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion), B2C vs. B2B marketing, and branding.

Digital Marketing: Lead generation in digital world, paid search and social advertising, content marketing, analyzing and optimizing digital marketing spend
